Wow! I just saw a picture of the plaque that CCC made for my dad on the Col de la Croix de Fer. What a fitting tribute. I think he would be a little embarrased and greatly touched. He lived for the climbs in the Alps. Thank you so much for your kindness.

I was signed up to do the '05 Ride for the Roses, had my plane tickets and everything, when I was diagnosed with breast cancer a month before the ride. Had to back out to have surgery, but am still an avid rider and cancer free now. Still hope to do a Livestrong Challenge someday.

I am interested in becoming a member. I am a cancer survivor (SSC, tongue cancer, a little over a year now) and an avid cyclist. I rode the Livestrong Challenge in Philly last year (100-miles...just 12-weeks after finishing radiation)and have signed up again for it this year. I remember seeing CCC on that ride. Are any of CCC members riding the Dempsey Challenge in ME in October? How about the 24 Hours of Booty in Columbia, MD in September?

I am an avid bike rider and have been for years, but what you are doing here is wonderful. To all of you who are fighting or beating these many forms of cancer, I pray for each of you that you can outride cancer and leave it in the dust behind you all. Keep up the good work.

I'm 70. Just diagnosed with low grade PC, which will be monitored with PSA every 3 months. I want to ride but my wife thinks biking will make my cancer grow. Is there any scientific evidence out there which says that biking does not cause a progression of the PC?? Any help would be deeply apprecitated.

I was diagnosed with melanoma in July, 2007. The point of origin was never found as it was located in a cyst in my armpit. I had 13 lymph nodes removed (all negative). Went through high dose Interferon and five weeks low dose Interferon. I now have lymphedema. I would like to hear from othe riders who have lymphedema in the arm and how you set up your bike.

I have a friend who was just diagnosed with prostate cancer (he's posted on this site). What I could use is some help with helping him, mostly I'm afraid of saying/doing the wrong thing. Is there info out there for us who are on "the other side" of this terrible thing that has happened to ones we love? I've just helped with a niece who had rhabdo & it was a different experience dealing with a teenager. Thank you!
